I had a thought on September 30th 2025:
‘Today was the Translator’s Day. Incidentally (or maybe not), I obtained my Translator’s Certificate 20 years and 1 day ago. They were beautiful. This job is great; I learned a lot. I will always help anyone in need of a translation; however, in my heart, I admit – in the end – that AI and these globalist times, designed as if to uniformise everything, sealed the lid. Translators will have another go, though. I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but the world will need us again. When that happens, we will be more appreciated from all perspectives than we have ever been.
May we live long!
